The Africa Institute of Public Administration is Africa’s largest professional body for those in the practice of administration, management, governance and leadership of public institutions and systems of government. As a recognized brand in the continent with over 15,000 members from different countries in Africa, we create a strong network of professional learning community of people who continuously improve the practice of Public Administration and personal competencies for effectiveness of delivery of public goods by governments and public institutions in the continent.

Our mission is to drive sustainable Solutions, organizational performance and personal effectiveness through globally accepted standards of practice of public administration shaping the thinking developing the people and providing a strong networking setting for resourceful peer interactivities and cooperative experiences and lessons amongst members and States.

Our topical research and public policy activities set the union and provide a voice for the profession to promote good governance, service effectiveness, competency and connectivity amongst members from diverse backgrounds and cultures across Africa.

AIPA Distinguished Fellowship award (DFAI) which will be conferred on you, is the highest level of fellowship created by the Charter of the Institute. It is reserved exclusively for leaders, Senior public administrators, top civil servants, and heads or senior executives of public and private organizations who have themselves with outstanding records of service, achievements and verifiable contributions in the course of their careers.

AIPA DFAI gives public sector professionals, career officers and political executives the recognition and mark of professional excellence and distinction which enhance career prospects and a wealth of other benefits.
