The TLA Masterclass
The Transformational Leadership for Africa: Masterclass is an executive-level course on Leadership and Management, where participants learn innovative and creative methods of leading organizations in an increasingly complex society. The course is delivered by expert faculty and takes into account the practical implications of cutting-edge technologies, international policies, global competition, crises, and climate change in leadership and management. Course participants are taken through a study tour of documented impacts of striking leadership innovations, and decisions in organizations, businesses, and countries of the world, to unearth a pattern for application in other leadership or management situations.
Across the globe, rounded leaders are in short supply. This arguably explains the continuing tension in global security, a worsening economy, energy crises, and dwindling prosperity in the nations of the world, with Africa at the bottom. Making the most of governance at the organizational, national, and international levels required a painstaking discovery of responsive strategies of leadership and management, which leaders may apply to solve wicked leadership problems and deliver organizational goals with resounding levels of success.

NKRUMAH LEADERSHIP MEDAL
Osagyefo Kwame Nkrumah formerly Francis Nwia-Kofi is the legendary African leader under whom Gold Coast, now Ghana gained her independence from British colonization in 1957. He served as Ghana’s first prime minister and president until 1966 when the military overthrew his administration.
Nkrumah, as a Pan-Africanist, was a passionate advocate for African Unity. He was a founding member of the Organization for African Unity and used every opportunity at his disposal to advocate for the United States of Africa. His conviction was that unity is all Africa needs to lead the world. sadly, not many other African leaders shared the same vision of federal Africa as he did.
Nkrumah died in exile in 1972, and today, Africa is paying dearly for rejecting his call to federate Africa as a single continental state. AIPA presents the Kwame Nkrumah leadership medal to the Summit participants to epitomize transformational leadership, and inspire commitment to unity, vision, and purpose in leadership.
The stand-up Medal presentation will take place at the Ghana Museum.
